Mayo has the perfect attitude to go with his size. He will stand tied for hours enjoying grooming, baths, or tacking up. Mayo has no agenda of his own and is responsive to his rider. He will greet you at the gate and follows along respectfully while leading. Absolutely zero bolt, spook, or rear. Mayo can be stalled and is very quiet in the barn. He has also been pasture kept in the past and falls right in the middle of the herd. He has no known issues and is 100% sound. Mayo stands 13.2 hands and has enough substance to carry a smaller adult.
He has experienced life outside of the arena including road driving and after dark trail rides. Mayo remains calm and collected while and after jumping making him ideal for someone who needs a confidence boost. His trot is smooth and has a delightful canter that he picks up effortlessly. His driving resume is impressive, can be hitched by one person and has a solid walk, trot, canter in harness. Mayo will also carry a shank bit and rides well off of leg pressure.
