Benson is an outstanding gelding that youβve been looked for your entire life. Heβs definitely the Rolls Royce in horse flesh. Benson is a 6 year old, 15 hand, 1100lb, SOOTY BUCKSKIN.
Benson has been extensively trail ridden all over Kentucky and Illinois; from haul in day rides to weeks at a time camping trips. He will stand on the picket line or tied to the trailer for hours at a time. He will cross obstacles on the trail without any hesitation: water, ditches, and logs. Benson will ride with large groups or out on his own. He is just happy to be with you. Benson has also been used to pony babies in the training barn, tracking & roping cattle out in the feild, and has been through several obstacle courses. Benson has been ridden western, english, and bareback with just a halter. Benson is very versatile inside or outside the arena. Whether it be letting the kids show him in the county shows english/western or taking a long relaxing trail ride he is your man. He is also traffic safe if you want to take a stroll through town and ride in parades. Benson loves to be groomed. He has the sweet personality everyone looking for. He will stand for hours while you brush and braid his mane and tail. He is 100% family safe from beginners to seasoned riders or anyone in between.
He will kindly drop his head to make bridling easy. With just a snap of your finger, Benson will side pass to a picnic table, truck bed, log, or trailer fender to make mounting easy
