I’m looking to rehome my Dunskin Quarter Horse mare Willa. She’s aged about 6 years old and has had one unexpected colt in April 2023. She’s gone through a lot of training the past few years, but has been out on pasture since last April as I just don’t have the time she needs and deserves.

She’s incredibly sweet and timid, is still quite green and is a more nervous, reactive girl who really needs someone to bond with and to help build her confidence. She’s green broke to ride but has been sitting been since last April, so she will need someone to start her over again from the ground up. She’s had a lot of ground work including showmanship. Halter broke, leads, loads (not the easiest), ties. UTD on vaccines, deworming, farrier (barefoot), and had her teeth floated in July.

She's 100% sound, no issues. Very sweet and well mannered girl. Can be mareish with other horses at times, but generally does well in herd setting. I adore this girl and am dreading doing this, but feel it’s best for her to have someone with enough time to work with her. Willing to consider a trade for a well broke rideable older horse.
