Hi there!
I am Metro, a handsome 11yo chestnut OTTB. I wasn't the fastest youngster on the track so never completed track/gate training. Since I wasn't meant to race, I'd spent my adolescent years as a successful hunter in the show ring on the local circuit (who doesn't love a goober chestnut hunter??) with my human and I'm now ready for a new chapter in life!

Don't let the photos or physique fool you....I'm not your typical OTTB build. I am beefcake jock and a righteous dude. Sound for walking, healthy and full of character, I have an easy but outgoing nature, gentle with small folks and with just the right touch of spice to keep things fun and interesting. I am smart, curious and lovable, totally in your pocket if you let me.

I'd started Natural Horsemanship/Liberty work at my current barn several months ago and am told I am showing great promise! I learn quick, especially when treats are involved. I enjoy using my brain and love connecting with people who can satisfy my need for problem solving.

Even though I'm no longer clearing fences and packing my human around that showring, I do LOVE to work.

Trailers, UTD on shots, stands for vet, farrier (capable of being barefoot in the summer, barefoot now) bathing and clipping. Allergic to oats but can tolerate occasional treats with oats in them.
