Valkyrie (Val) is a 13 year old gray registered TWH mare standing 15.1 hands. This mare is an absolute show stopper! She’s got the looks, natural beautiful gait and an excellent temperament to top it off. Val can be ridden in an arena and win blue ribbons, she would make a nice trail horse or she could be a great addition to a TWH breeding program. Check out her registration papers – mostly WGC and HOF lines! She is not spooky, not buddy/barn sour, stands tied quietly (for grooming, tacking, mounting and farrier), trailers great and loads onto my small 2 horse bumper pull trailer with no problem, no health concerns or vices, and she is an easy keeper. She has been on large trail rides all over southern VA and northern NC – crosses creeks, mud, traffic safe, leads or follows or will ride totally solo. Val is sensitive to leg and rein cues and has a lot of buttons; for that reason she is not suitable for a complete beginner. Val requires at least a confident beginner that has good personal body control and light with their hands or someone getting into riding that is working with a trainer. Val has been in professional training for the last 60 days and will continue being ridden and exercised until she is adopted. Overall she has had 120 days of professional training between 2 different facilities, so she is ready to be the most beautiful horse on the trails or bring a blue ribbon home in the show ring! I really cannot say enough good things about this horse, she’s as close to “perfect” as they get.
