Sola and her friend, Lysingur, are in need of a new forever home, as we've moved to France and sadly can't take them with us. Sola is a good tolting Icelandic horse. She was well-trained at a very good stable, Fitjamyri, in Canada; however neither my partner nor I are experienced riders and were never very good at getting the most out of her skills. This makes it hard for us to give her a precise temperament rating. She is a bit mouthy and can be pushy in the corral (she loves treats) but tends to be rather docile on the trail. She has a bit of an underbite and is allergic to flies (has responded well to allertec). She is not fond of being trailered. With the right partner, Sola would be awesome. I am selling the horses only as a pair and will include their trailer and all tack for an additional fee.
