🔸2018 Roan Registered AQHA Mare 🔸15 hh 🔹1,100 lbs 📍 Hotchkiss, CO Are you in search of a dependable trail horse that has excellent conformation and a beautiful color? Here she is! Luna was my main mount for the 1,500 mile long ride I took in 2023. When the trail gets gnarly, she slows down and carefully traverses through. We navigated shale fields, bogs, fallen logs, steep mountain passes, tough water crossings and spent two weeks riding the Wind Rivers range where the trails are 70% rock and 30% dirt. Safe to ride alone, in groups and bareback. Rides in a curb, neck reins, stops and backs off of the seat. Sidepasses and is learning to open gates. 90% of her riding has been on the trail. Luna has done everything I’ve asked her to including the Bison Roundup, reenacting the Pony Express and fishing horseback. Luna’s bloodlines include foundation quarter horses Mckeag, Pretty Buck Zeb and Blue Valentino. Luna’s unique zebra stripes are visible all year, she is a dun in the Winter and her roan color comes out in the Summer. She is athletic with a strong hip, long legs, refined neck and pretty head. She is sound and healthy. She had her teeth done in April 2025. She has a set of shoes as of May 1st. Suitable for advanced beginner and up
