Roscoe is a 5 year old Blue Roan gelding. I have had him since he was a weanling. He has great color and personality. We purchased him from Jeff and Christina Tift in Banner, Wyoming. He is out of a Quarter Horse mare and a Percheron stud. He is great on the ground and under saddle. He is athletic for a draft cross. Does well in the arena and on trails and rides out alone. Yields well to leg pressure. Will side pass and open gates. He is a friendly horse with a good disposition. He comes to meet you in the pasture….very easy to catch. He does well with other horses and is the middle of the pecking order. Crosses water and obstacles. Used extensively to gather cattle. Roscoe has never been injured and always has been sound. Nice solid feet and I’m sure he would do fine barefoot, though he stands well for the farrier. Easy to load and trailer. Does well with the clippers to trim a bridle path. Will lead a pack string….Has been high lined and hobbled. Roscoe trailers well and has been hauled to Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, and Colorado. Roscoe has a microchip for identification. Video can be sent upon request.
