Dune is a gentle, calm trail horse and is about as thick and pretty as they come. He is a draft crossed with a quarter horse and is steady and solid. He is brave on trail and walks over any obstacle you put in front of him and is willing to go anywhere or do anything out on trail. He can easily pick up his leads and rates his speed, though trail riding is where he really shines. Dune can sidepass, open gates, carry a tarp, carry a flag, carry a ball and has been around cows, dogs, cars, trucks, tractors, quads, dirtbikes, UTV’s, weed whackers, blowers, ducks and anything else we have thrown his way. He is truly a wonderful, kind and gentle horse looking for someone to call his own and have a purpose in life.

Dune came to us with limited exposure and experience so we've put over 14 months of professional training into him to get him to be a seasoned, experienced, well rounded boy. He's never offered to rear, buck or bolt which is a true testament to his calm and safe nature. It can still take him a minute to warm up to new people but when he accepts you as his person he bonds incredibly strongly and his sweet, puppy dog personality comes out. Dune needs someone who is patient and kind and who has the time to love on him and pick up where we left off to form a strong bond and give him someone to rely on.

Dune has been pre-vet checked and is up to date on vaccines, teeth, worming, and farrier. No maintenance.
