Kindle/Enkindle https://www.notforgotten.farm/sales-horses for pictures and video 2020 16.0 1/2 h Dark Bay OTTB Bay Mare (Jump Start- Blazeaway by Proud Citizen). Athletic, smart, and super easy to handle. Take2 TB Jumper potential. This mare is athletic, smart, and easy to handle! She’s going to be the total package in a couple of years. She has a nice uphill build and balances herself well. Kindle stands quietly on crossties for grooming and for the farrier. She walks in quietly from the field even when her pasture mate is up in the air. Kindle can be ridden around the farm by herself…even on cold windy days. She will walk down the road and walk through water. She’s been ridden bareback in a rope halter, too. With 7 starts, Kindle didn’t show a lot of promise on the track and we purchased her in September 2024 as a project. With only a month of being re-started, we took her to Tryon on a whim and WOW this mare impressed us. At Tryon, she never spooked, handled the busy schooling rings, and trail rode all over the property. She showed in the 2’ Long Stirrup division and jumped everything and did her lead changes. We received a lot of complements from other professionals on her good behavior and the potential for future success. After Tryon/throughout the winter, we gave her some down time and focused more on ground work, fitness, and flatwork. As we progress through her training, we feel she will thoroughly enjoy the jumper ring. She is fast, but doesn’t run (meaning, she’s not scary). She’s adjustable, listens, and comes right back to you. Her knees are ALWAYS up and she’s very careful over poles and over fences. We took her to Tryon again in the spring and, yet again, this mare was great! (video below) She requires no prep and was eager to please in the jumper ring. Due to business changes, we continued her training at home, but didn't take her off property. However, we took her to a Halloween hunter show for fun - we dressed up and played in the hunter ring. She was a lot of fun to ride and was very good with the Halloween activities. No know lamenesses. We recently pulled her shoes to try her barefoot and she is doing well. We will continue to develop her as a jumper, but we could see her going different directions, to include eventing and fox hunting. We definitely see this girl doing well in the Take2 Thoroughbred jumpers! High 4s - willing to accept offers.
