Another Fancy buckskin filly out of KT Hollywood Katana and by Midnight Kat DR, “MC.” MC is by Starlight Midnight, who is a NRHA money-earner, he qualified for the 2007 AQHA World Show in Jr. Heeling. Starlight Midnight earned over 60 AQHA points and has earned his AQHA Register of Merit. Starlight Midnight is by the legendary sire Grays Starlight. Offspring of Grays Starlight have won over 10 million dollars. His offspring have made him one of the Leading Sires in the NRHA, NRCHA and NCHA. In 2007 Grays Starlight was the Leading Sire of Broodmares sold in both NRHA and NRCHA sales and the second leading sire of broodmares sold in NCHA sales. MC’s dam is Slick as a Cat DR who is by Magneticat. Magneticat is a gorgeous red roan with a lot of bone and size. Magneticat has a fantastic mind and he can move around on a cow. He is a big stopper with great quickness. Magneticat has earnings with a limited show career. He is sired by Metallic Cat who is the hottest stallion in the cutting horse business. KT Hollywood Katana was professionally trained by Jason Hicks for almost a year before she got injured. Her dam, KT Write on Dyna, was out of Dregers Harley Tucker, a daughter of Dry Doc Chex (NCHA money earner), out of a Doc Tom Tucker/King Fritz mare. Dyna is by Just Plain Starlight, “Colonel.” Katana’s sire, Leroy, was a stallion that was smooth ride with tremendous talent, beautiful movement and huge stop. He was quiet and trainable which he passes along to his foals; he consistently produces fantastic foals with looks, color, conformation and brains. Leroy has produced 1 foal that has NRHA earnings. He also has a 3 year old competing in Western Dressage, was 3rd in Canada in July 2016 and has racked up more 1st place finishes since then. He is sired by Dolls Union Jac- ROM, NRHA earnings, and sired foals that have earnings in excess of $310,000.00 in NRHA, as well as earnings in NRCHA, Buckskin Assoc., and the AQHA world show. Leroy’s dam is Docsan Jeany who has produced foals with earnings in excess of $3700.00 and AQHA point earners. Katana is also double registered with NFQHA at 88%.
