Kash is a 2015 model with a big heart and even bigger personality. This handsome gelding is intelligent, athletic, and undeniably fancy. He’s been a constant source of laughter with his quirky ways and sharp mind. Kash does best with an experienced rider who has a solid seat, as he can be hot and a bit spooky at times. That said, he does not buck, bite, or kick—his version of a spook is more of a “tuck and scoot.” He’s respectful on the ground and gets along well with others, currently turned out with my yearling. He’s enjoyed trail rides in the company of confident companions and has proven to be a willing and curious partner. He has been carrying an adult amateur who is learning to ride 1st-2nd level dressage. They have dabbled in jumping, trail riding, and obstacle trail. There are confident teens in the barn who have also ridden Kash with success in intro and training level dressage. His mental and physical health thrive with the implementation of the balance through movement method, regular body work, and PEMF. Kash was evaluated by Dr. Sara Perkins a few months ago, who recommended additional support for his right hind. He is also scheduled to be seen by Northwest Equine to assess the possibility of hock and/or stifle injections. He is ECVM-negative, and up to date on all vaccines and dental care. This decision is incredibly hard, as Kash holds a very special place in my heart. However, with medical school on the horizon, I simply won’t have the time or financial resources he deserves. If you’re looking for a unique, talented horse with loads of personality and potential—and you have the experience to match—Kash may be your perfect partner. Serious inquiries only.
