We purchased Keeper after I had just had a human baby of my own. I thought I would be able to juggle multiple broodmares but I just have too many eggs in one basket.
Keeper has been well trained and rode in the past. The people that I got her from had her on 100 acres the last 4 years. She has not done much during that time and would require a refresher by someone experienced. She has a big motor. I do not recommend her for kids or anyone that is not experienced. She did have some barrel training and also did grand entry at rodeos and parades.... however.. this was during her younger years. Maybe she could do this with the right person but it will require work to get her back to that. I have no doubt she could be a great ranch/trail horse. She just hasn't been rode much in the last few years.
Easy to load and catch and stands at the vet without sedation.
Keeper has had two beautiful, live, healthy foals in the past, and is a phenomenal mother.
Keeper has a contract to THE GOODBYE BLUES... a beautiful blue roan stallion by THE GOODBYE LANE for a 2026 foal. We just missed the ovulation window by a hair and she did not take on the first try. We live over an hour and half from the vet and I just don't have the time to continue to haul her back and forth. The stallion owner has agreed to transfer the contract to the buyer.
Ride her, breed her, use her as a recip mare! She is gorgeous and sweet!
