I’ve had the pleasure of knowing this horse since he was three and can say he is genuinely a horse I enjoy having around. He spent 6 months in professional reining training and is the horse I jump on when I need a boost in my day. Smooth and enjoyable in the arena and out. I take him out by himself and in groups. He goes anywhere I put him, crosses water of all levels, goes down our urban trails, and up in the hills. Hauls easily, ties, enjoys chasing cows, and handles the ranch trail obstacles. No cribbing, weaving, or stall issues. Naturally low headed, he jogs like a pleasure horse, collects, knows his leads, stops on woah and turns around. I think he would do great to continue as a daily rider, jack of all trades, or go to work with someone who wants to pursue the ranch riding classes and get this pretty guy into the show ring. He is youth suitable for approximately a 10yo+, depending on the youth’s riding ability. For a youth, I would recommend being under the supervision of a trainer. He is an easy keeper and has a big personality. He is just as happy to drink your cocktail as he is to cruise around the arena or down the trail. The only reason he wasn’t shown is that the owner had no interest in competing and preferred using him for just daily enjoyment. ***Owner is selling due to buying a house & a change at work that is limiting her time to ride.
