Registered Paint APHA Blue Roan, HR Smart Boon Hustle aka Buttons, sweet, gentle, and eager to please both on the ground and under saddle. He tacks up with full size saddle and bitless bridle or halter. He’s an easy keeper, strong hooves – shod in the front, solidly built only fed hay/pasture - no grain, even with being outside in the winter. We’ve found nothing that has spooked him during the past 2 years on the highway and trail rides. He doesn't rear, buck, bolt, kick or bite. Can be ridden alone or in a group. Stands tied, loads in the trailer and enjoys being brushed. Easy to catch, usually just call him. Middle of the herd and he’s the first horse that young horses bond to. Buttons is confident and accepts rambunctious young horses climbing all over him. Pastured with geldings and mares. Ridden English and Western, currently in a bit-less bridle (side-pull) and English saddle. He likes male/female handlers/riders equally. Good for the farrier and vet. He prefers a steady walk or jog-trot but will give more when asked. He stays calm if he falls behind the other riders and will catch up when asked. Smooth and solid to ride, sure-footed on the trail. In trail lessons, beginning riders enjoy how trustworthy and gentle he is. He responds to 25 verbal commands and is very willing to learn. A good home is a must. Located just south of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Transportation within 30 miles for extra consideration. Priced low at $6,000 and his price will be negotiable in a few months.
