Stoney is a sweet, healthy, and handsome 6yo Andalusian gelding. He has only been with us a few months, but in that time he has had several lessons with a local professional trainer, and in May he completed a 40 hour mounted patrol training with Western States Mounted Officers Association and performed beautifully. This guy doesn't get riled up or spooked at much of anything: his disposition is very quiet. He tends to be on the lazy side and does better with spurs or a crop, although he will walk and trot without any aids, he just needs some convincing to canter. Great with ground work, stands to mount, sidepasses and turns on the front & hind, is well behaved for the farrier and vet. Stoney is UTD on all his shots, worming, and dental work. He is currently barefoot and has hard feet. He could excel at many different disciplines: trail, parades, western pleasure, dressage, or drill team. He responds very well off legs and seat and could be ridden without bit or bridle once he trusts his rider. **Note about the video: the attached video on youtube was created by the former seller and shows his attributes well. He was formerly called Stewart, but we changed his name. This is the same horse in the video. Located in Melba, Idaho.
