Khan is a very personable and athletic gelding looking for his new partner. He is a true 16’2 hands and built thick. He was purchased 4 years ago by a young adult amateur who brought him along primarily by herself. Khan is very willing and a lovely mover on the flat. He would make a confident youth or adult amateur an excellent dressage mount, he is currently schooling first level with the potential to do more. Khan really enjoys jumping but is green, he would benefit from a rider working with a professional to further his education. Khan has travelled off property for dressage clinics, jumping/cross country clinics, and schooling shows. Khan stands well for the vet and farrier, crossties, and is an overall good citizen. He is happy to live inside or out, currently lives outside 24/7. He is a dominant gelding in a herd. He wears a full set of shoes and had mild maintenance (hocks, coffins) done over a year ago, but hasn’t show the need for any additional. He is good with toddlers, dogs, and farm equipment. He is currently being used in my lesson program with advanced riders. His vice is that he will chew when bored, but is respectful to spray deterrents. His dressage video is with a small youth rider who has only ridden him a handful of times. The jump video is with an adult amateur new to jumping. Khan will make someone an awesome partner and a loving home is a priority. Serious Inquiries only please. Priced in the low 5’s is perfect for a rider on a smaller budget.
