Little Big Man is a 2016 grade draft cross bay gelding, standing 16.1 hands. He has extensive trail and mountain experience. He will be the one you can ride to the top of the mountain or put your kids on for a fun ride. He is gentle natured and will fit many levels of riders. He has been ridden extensively in the remote wilderness of NW Wyoming, led long pack strings, packed elk as well as trophy horns. He is excellent for crossing big rivers, bridges, snow drifts and dragging logs to the campfire. In addition to the mountains he will make a great play day horse for the kids to ride. He has good bone and solid feet wearing a size 2 shoe. Little Big Man moves with a steady walk, into a large stepping trot, and has a nice soft slow lope. He is confident, quiet and wants to please. His calm demeanor makes him reliable when riding alone or in large groups. Little Big Man has been owned by our family since weaned and also used as a clinic horse for riding lessons with children. He is safe with flags, guns, and traffic. Little Big Man has moved cattle and been lightly roped off of at brandings. Ride him bareback with a halter, snaffle, bosal, or finished bit.
