WOW. There are few words to really describe Lance, maybe UNICORN and SAINT and GIFTED can come close. He is truly such a special and perfect horse. This horse would look great in any upscale barn, but he is also sweet enough to live in your backyard if you want a truly special friend and to indulge yourself in a classy sporthorse who oozes class and will be competitive up the dressage levels, in eventing, combined driving, or take him on trail rides and go foxhunting and hilltopping! Use him as a fancy guest horse if you wish. I am sure Lance can do more than one of these things. Lance already neck-reins, has a dressage base, jumps, trail rides, and drives.
- He is light on his feet with a soft footfall and a cat-like elasticity
- He is amateur-safe, forgiving, tolerant, not hot, does not need to be ridden daily, no prep needed = the right brain for the Amateur rider who wants a horse they can trust.
- He rides in a simple snaffle. End of story.
- He is easy to turn and maneuver - if I can do it with 1 hand, loose rein, and no stirrups, that should tell you something about how easy he is.
- He is smooth and comfortable - making no stirrup time a breeze, and saving all that bounce on your back. QUALITY gaits. Posting his trot is optional bc it is so comfortable you can sit it easily if you want. His canter is rolling and smooth.
- He has great manners. Stands great for everything - farrier, vet, dentist, bathing, etc. Loads on the trailer. A peach in turn-out. Easy to catch, loves people, loves attention, polite, mannerly. A GOOD boy with a nice personality that you would want to have around and love on every day.
- Lance has a giving, trying nature with a generous and obedient personality.
- He is an "old soul" and does not act goofy or silly when you are riding him.
- He is well-balanced and picks up the correct leads naturally.
- Lance likes jumping and possess as effortless jump with plenty of impressive scope.
- Lance is sound with clean legs, he is blemish-free, and he has no vices. He has great feet as well.
