Looking for a companion home: Danny is a 17-year-old 16.2 HH TB gelding. I am looking to see if someone would be interested in taking him as a companion, as he is not able to stay sound for riding. Needs minimal maintenance to be pasture sound. He has been diagnosed with lumbar kissing spines, left hock arthritis (fused now), and an old stifle injury, which is getting worse and hurts after light riding.

Ideally, he'd go to a home with pasture turnout with a couple of buddies. He does best with blanketing over the winter as needed (blankets will come with him). Danny is a sweet (but big) guy who has done well with kids in the past, is good around dogs, goats, etc. If you are interested, please contact me for more info.
