Meet "Joey", a beautiful 8year-old Missouri Fox Trotter gelding standing 15.1 hands high. If you’re looking for a smooth, ground-covering ride, Joey’s your guy! ✅ Naturally smooth gait – glides through his gait with ease. He also has a nice canter. ✅ Sound, healthy, and current on vaccinations, dental, and farrier care ✅ Confident and sure-footed on trails – water crossings, traffic, wildlife, no problem ✅ Loads, ties, bathes, and stands for farrier like a gentleman ✅ Best suited for intermediate riders and up – he’s responsive and forward. He does need a rider who won’t let him get away with things you don’t want him to do. He is safe but can be a bit stubborn at times. Joey has miles of trail experience and handles new environments with confidence. Whether you’re heading out for long trail rides, organized trail competitions, or just enjoying time in the arena, he’s ready to go. I have ridden him in Yellowstone, the Tetons, and the Rocky mountains. We are also donating his buddy, a Tennessee walker. 16 hands and 22 years old. He goes on every trip and still very active and enjoys riding .He is a completely broke horse and a beginner would feel very comfortable on him.
