Looking for a quiet, fun, and reliable horse? Missy is a 7-year-old Registered Quarter Horse Mare that I started as a 2-year-old. She has been ridden extensively in the 5/8 inch hackamore, including trail rides, arena maneuvers, roping, and working cattle. She also rides fantastically in an O-ring snaffle and is currently being ridden one-handed in a curb shank snaffle. She is calm around cattle, while still being cowy, and she holds cows on the end of the rope well. We have primarily practiced ranch roping and working cattle out of the herd. She has been on numerous trail rides and is comfortable going down the road, through water and mud, over down trees, and through any other obstacles that may come her way. She has also had some success at some local ranch horse shows this summer. In the arena, she neck reins and smoothly performs all maneuvers including: circles, stops, backs, spins, side passes, rollbacks, simple lead changes, half passes, and leg yields. On top of all of this, she is extremely quiet and has a kind heart. She truly is a pleasure to be around in the barn, and she faces new challenges with confidence and grace. In addition, she has excellent ground manners, which include ground tying, hobbling, and extensive ground work. She clips, bathes, stands for the farrier, stands for shots, and loads in the trailer with no issues. She is safe for beginner riders to learn on, while also being a great horse for an experienced rider to enjoy. **Please call, text, or message for further pictures, information, and a sale video!!** Ian Barr
