Ringo has given me a new love for geldings, I’ve gone back and forth a lot on parting with him, but he’s too fancy for a lesson program and he deserves his own partner.

Ringo is still very much so green, but can wtc under saddle and is started over poles and small crossrails. This guy LOVES to jump and is as willing as they come. Even asking him to trot over fallen trees on the trail, he doesn’t even bat an eye.

For me, he has been sound. I do have 4 shoes on him, but he could probably go down to just fronts. He has an underbite, but it’s never affected how the bit sits in his mouth or caused him discomfort. The dentist said he will only need yearly floats and shouldn’t need any kind of special accommodations for that.

Sweet as apple pie, stands for bathing, clipping, vet, farrier, dentist, etc. In your pocket attitude, amazing work ethic. If I were in the market for a new horse for myself, or had the space to keep him just for fun, I would. If you’re looking for an easy project, Ringo is your guy!!
