Selling this lovely mare as part of my APHA(Paint) herd reduction as a potential riding, therapy, companion horse. She is well-bred and homozygous for black but was purchased blind in her right eye in 2017; she has produced 3 Grulla(o), 2 Pinto, 1/2 Arabian foals for me and was leased to a breeder for a couple of years but never produced for her – Not certain but suspect possibly her program or she seems to be an every other year kind of mare. Her 2024 filly is on site and being retained as a future riding prospect. Not selling her as a broodmare however as I was told she lost her right eyesight due to an injury but a genetic test in 2024 revealed she does carry a higher risk to Uveitis and decided to not breed her moving forward. A very sweet mare, loves people and attention, tall and big boned for an Arabian with lots of hair making her a dream to groom and the one friends like to brush when they visit. She was put under saddle by a professional and leased out for trail riding prior to my owning her. I had her evaluated when she arrived at my place in 2017 (Under saddle picture). Her western training was evident with her collection and movement but she will need a restart since she hasn’t been ridden in several years and suspect will need confidence with a regular rider due to her eyesight limitation. A serious forever good home is a must and her price is reflective of that requirement. Current Coggins in hand. Updated Photos/at liberty videos available. Thank you for looking.
