She is a unique individual with the best of her foundation Appaloosa abilities combined with solid natural gait. She also has the classic roan gene and the Appaloosa LP and PATN1 color genes. Homozygous gait genes are very rare as less than 10% of Appaloosa have one. Conformation plays a good part of horses ability to gait so crossing a non-gaited Appaloosa with a gaited horse only gives you 1 gait gene and not the conformation to easily gait. Cloud has gaited naturally from her first steps. She is DNA tested negative of the QH diseases. Her temperament is willing and friendly. Leads, ties, picks up feet.
