“Gus” is a handsome 14 year old, 16.3 American/French TB gelding whose rider is off to college so he is looking for his next person. He never raced and is a 2nd level dressage schoolmaster and former eventer who is now enjoying dressage, low level jumping and trail riding. He has extensive experience riding in multiple locations in and out of the arena, shows, clinics, lessons, etc. He has comfortable gaits, a playful personality around the barn and appreciates his human companions and getting out regularly. He is curious and looks to his rider for confidence in new situations and enjoys knowing and having a job. He likes to work and have a regular routine. He is happy hacking in a group, and can also go out on his own. He opens gates, enjoys beach and mountain rides, horse camping and trailers like a pro. He is well suited for an amateur or teen rider who is in a training program with a professional.
