This lovely mare is looking for a new home! She is the sweetest girl and fun to ride. She’s been used for pleasure riding for the past year and was raised and trained as a ranch horse. Responsive, soft mouth, responds to voice or leg cues, nice quiet trot, long lope stride, picks up both leads easily, neck rein and direct rein. Excellent woah and and can do a sliding stop from a lope. She’s good on the trails and will go out alone but does like to ride with a buddy. Her lope could use some work but is great to sit – long, comfortable and smooth. Intermediate and up, as she is a forward ride and takes her confidence from her rider. She is slow to trust and she doesn't respond well to aggressive training techniques - needs a calm, laid-back handler. Leads, lunges, stands at the mounting block Doesn’t mind tractors or heavy machinery Stands tied in cross ties or to a trailer Fly spray, bathes, Great for vet and farrier Goes barefoot but has been shod in the past. Loads in a trailer, Good in a stall or turned out Easy keeper! No maintenance, vices or health issues UTD on all shots, coggins, dental and feet. Turns out well with other mares and geldings - higher in herd dynamic This girl has the sweetest personality, she can’t get enough affection. She will only go to the right home! It is hard to let her go, but I just don’t have time for 2 horses and am realizing I am not much of a Western rider. She is smart and willing and is ready to go in any direction!
