Taller, experienced English rider looking for a safe, sound, and sane partner for regular rides, lessons, maybe some local hunter schooling shows, and the occasional relaxing hack.
-15.2+ hh
-6–10 y/o preferred
-Amateur-friendly; can take a joke
-Calm attitude, low-to-moderate go
-Started or is jumping, with scope for 2'6"+ courses
-No/low-maintenance; manageable vices OK
-No major rehabs, restarts, or quirks (no spook, buck, rear, etc.)
-Bonuses: some show/offsite miles, experience in a busy barn (dogs, chickens, lessons, kids, road noise, etc.)
No color or gender preference — just a kind, sensible brain, nice movement, and willing attitude to do some work without the drama. Thoughtful, patient rider in a lesson program who will provide excellent care.
Prefer to stay within about two hours of the Houston, TX area (reaching out/past Tomball, Magnolia, Conroe, Katy, Galveston, Bryan, Sugar Land, Columbus, Brenham, Huntsville, etc.).
Budget: Mid to upper X,XXX-ish, some flexibility for Mr/Ms. Right
