Ella is an extremely lovely mare! She has great potential and I believe she will make someone very happy.
Ella has a background of jumping and some dressage. She was used as a kid and teen show pony prior to coming to me in May 2024. Ella has a bit of a past that requires someone to really take time for her to adjust to a new home. She just gets a little anxious and needs someone who will just love her through it. She is not dangerous. No bucking or bolting. Nothing like that! Ella is a forward ride. She likes to move. I personally think she would excel as a dressage mount or endurance. Ella really really likes having a person! She is a literal puppy dog that wants a person to love. She would be a great kids pony but the idea of a kid outgrowing her and moving on does not feel like the right choice for Ella. I would prefer to find her a home that is capable of focusing on her without the needs of splitting time among many horses (this is my issue, too many horses). Ella has been lightly used over the last year. She has been used in dressage clinics and lessons. She has been on trail. She has not been asked to go out alone as trails were new for her. But she is adjusting to them and is actually finding it really nice to move forward without a fence keeping her in. This is why I think she would be a suitable endurance mount! She is little at 13.2hh but she takes up a long leg nicely. I have had 5’7” riders on her that do not over load her. Ella does great on pasture with other horses. She is barefoot and stands amazing for the farrier. She was seen and worked on by an equine dentist in June 2025. I do not want to sell Ella…. She is an incredible horse that I very much want to keep… however I cannot. I am happy to go into much more detail about Ella’s past as well as my situation for anyone who may be interested in Ella. I would like to make an arrangement of a right of first refusal and/or trial periods to make sure she ends up in the right home. This girl deserves sooo much! She is located in Redvale, CO.
