Put your eyes on the prize, and say hello to Ronnie! He is a registered 5 year old Friesian sport horse (FSHR) standing at 16h , by GERRIT S.F and out of PEARLS CHOCOLATE MOCHA, he is 75% Friesian and 25% Morgan! His sire is known for his stunning looks and solid dressage training. He is described as a "schoolmaster" with a wonderful canter and three good gaits. He is also trained to drive single, pair, and four-in-hand. Gerrit is suitable for dressage, trail riding, or driving, and is described as having a calm, willing personality. He is also noted for his ability to collect and extend in his gaits ! With that being said, Ronnie sure takes after his dad! He rides English, western, bareback, and bridleless !! He is a versatile, shapey gelding that will easily catch the attention of everyone around you. Ronnie will be the same honest horse every time you get on him. He has been in my training program for a year, learning dressage basics, trail riding, showing & has been working around our small ranch. Ronnie is an outstanding young gelding with a bright future ahead of him. Whether you want to go for a trail ride, compete in the show pen, or ride down busy highways, Ronnie can do it all! He easily takes home the blue ribbons when it comes to elegance and style. He has the most refined head and dashing friesian ears. It will capture your attention from the moment you meet him. At his first show in June, he took home grand champion highpoint! Ronnie stands like a soldier for farrier work, good with clippers, trailers nicely, is a sure footed, super willing and a fast learning gelding. Ronnie is happy to go through all of the obstacles, rides comfortably in indoor and outdoor arenas. He patiently stands, completely loose, to be groomed and tacked up. Ronnie gets along well with small children, pets, other horses, and even other livestock. When I say he is the full package deal, I mean every word! He is an exemplary individual and a true pleasure to spend time around as well as train. He has a great stop, a solid turnaround, backs up, side passes, 1/2 passes, lays down on command, and does this all with the uttermost willingness. He is happy to please his rider. As if all of this was not enough, Ronnie has also was used as a trail guide horse, riding by passing cars, and pedestrians. This guy has been rode through miles of trails, rides through our river, is traffic safe / been around heavy machinery (fence post pounders, tractors, atv, skid steer, etc.) walks over mattresses, through cowboy curtians, log jumble, jumps, bridges, ground ties, tire step up and lays down on command! Ronnie absolutely loves water, sometimes too much, but it is easily one of his favorite things in life! Ronnie has a solid foundation, and I feel confident that he will excel in whatever direction he is taken. He has been an incredibly fun gelding to train! Ronnie's movement under saddle is truly breathtaking, making him an ideal choice for trail or show riding.
