12.2 hand, gelding, 11-years-old, double Registered Welsh and German Riding Pony. With his gorgeous grullo coat, Cadence is always Instagram-ready and pulls off the “reindeer chic” look like nobody’s business.

He’s been a steady, trustworthy star in our lesson program for both beginners and advanced riders, helping kids master walk, trot, canter, and even their first jumps. This year, he tackled a few schooling shows jumping cross rails thru 2', even cross country with a junior rider and survived a week at beginner kids’ camp, may I add coming out the other side happy as ever. Out on the trail, he’s unflappable: no spook, no buck, no rear, just a cool and collected little guy. Has even done parades and placed in extreme trail obstacles.

Cadence is barefoot, easy to keep, and doesn’t ask for anything fancy. He gets along with everyone—horses, ponies, and people—and basically serves as the pasture’s welcome committee. He loves treats, scratches, and attention, and will happily meet you at the gate just like a golden retriever. Cadence is a barn favorite, great for the farrier, has excellent ground manners, and hauls like a dream. He’s low maintenance with zero diva energy. This little dudes a total blast and truly one of a kind.
