Nic is a consigned 4 year old bay gelding that is ready for a consistent trainer or home to help take him to the cutting, reining, or cowhorse pen! Due to no fault of his own, he was started late and is finally getting into a regular riding program.
Nic would thrive with a confident rider who has soft hands and knows how to lead. He is going to be a stopping machine and is starting to lock onto a cow nicely. He is ONLY for sale due to his owner having too many nice horses, and it’s time to thin the herd.
Nic was an orphan foal, so he’s still learning herd dynamics within a herd. He has a fun, in your pocket personality that wants to be with his person. This horse is going to make someone a knockout show pony in the right hands. He’s currently learning collection, cow turns, riding outside, etc. He’s taking things in stride and ready for his forever home!!
Nic’s sire is Houston Shine, whose LTE is $74,680. His maternal grandsire is Smart Paul Olena with an LTE of $77,905. He has Smart Chic Olena on the top and bottom as a great grandsire with an LTE of $167,472. And last but certainly not least, Nic’s paternal great grandsire is Shining Spark with an LTE of $62,674.
