Roman is a very athletic, energetic, huge strided, half dutch harness horse and half percheron. He is a pleasure to deal with and is in your pocket and very easy to handle on the ground. He loves jumping, and loves fox hunting above everything. He is a hot horse to hunt. He has led first field, but he can also follow in second or third. He has been in very open country and also lots of wooded trails. He is great going through water. He is athletic. If you are not a VERY experienced rider this is not the horse for you. I'd prefer to sell him to a northern home because he is black and although he winters in Florida fine, I don't think the southern weather is friendly to black horses. Roman has been to many schooling shows, and paces, and he has done USEA starter at a sanctioned show and was fabulous. He is always in the ribbons and has scored a 75% in dressage at USDF training level. He will not be for sale during hunt season which is Dec1-April 1, 2026.
