I live on the high prairie in northern New Mexico, and I recently retired my good solid horse. I keep horses forever. Right now, my oldest is in his mid 30s. They have a fabulous living situation on 100 acres of high grassland with twice a day care living in a small herd. I have a riding horse that is just a lot of drama, and even though I love her and I ride her every day. I also need one I can just get on and trail ride and relax with.
