2011 16hh Unraced Chestnut Thoroughbred Mare Miko Ruby, aka Miko Miko is looking for a new home due to no fault of her own, I am going to college and Miko and I have different goals in mind. Miko has been used in an IEA/lesson program in the past, however is better suited to one or only a couple riders. She is safe, with no mean bone in her body. She has competed up to 2'3, jumped about 2'9, however she is best suited to anyone looking to jump 2' or below as she has been expressing disinterest in jumping (my guess due to being in the IEA/lesson program burning her out). She has been ininconsistent work the past year due to me being sick last summer/fall and college. She would do fabulous with either a kid coming off a pony, and older rider, a family horse, 4-h horse, could do trails, etc. She rides western and does well, she is very versatile. She is great off property but hasn't shown since last summer. Miko wears front shoes currently, but has been good barefoot in the past. She does have a chip in her front left however it has never affected her. And she has a scar on her back right but it is purely cosmetic. She can turn out with mares or geldings. Good with vet, good with farrier, has been good to load (hasn't been loaded in a while), and has had a lot of groundwork done in the past two years. She does crib, however is easily controlled with a collar. Miko is a lovely horse looking for a nice easy job with a person who can give her the time she deserves!
