Briar is a 4 year old registered Dartmoor pony. He is intelligent and curious. However, he lacks confidence and is easily spooked. Briar is still shy around the vet and farrier. He ties, leads, and trailers well. He has correct conformation and naturally carries himself uphill, possessing three beautiful gaits. He would be best suited for an experienced trainer due to his flighty nature. Briar has been ridden under saddle a handful of time, but I would not say he is broke to ride in the least bit. Briar has potential, but needs constant training.
