Banjo has the quiet, easy-going nature of a Belgian paired with the athleticism of a Quarter Horse, making him a dream partner for almost any job. He willingly walks, trots, and canters balanced circles, and shows off a gorgeous extended trot. Recently started over jumps, Banjo took to it like he’d been doing it all his life—making him a great candidate for eventing, fox hunting, or simply being your steady, reliable family horse.

Out on the trail, Banjo is solid and dependable for riders of all levels. He’s ponied youngsters on their first rides, crossed logs, ditches, and creeks without hesitation, and always keeps that same calm, head-level composure. One of his highlights was carrying the American flag in a grand entry in front of roughly 1,000 people—an honor he handled with confidence and style alongside Cheryl, who has treasured every moment with him.

Banjo also drives and has confidently navigated busy roads and heavy traffic. On the ground, he’s as sweet as they come—always at the gate to greet you, soaking up attention, and happy to be around people. He’s been exposed to dogs, cattle, and all the usual farm life without a fuss. 100% sound and clean, no vices, and excellent for shoeing, clipping, loading, and hauling.
