Solid Versatility Prospect

"Octavius" is a 2025 APHA(pending) colt that is bred for work and play. Sired by a reining bred stallion and out of a ranch bred mare, he will have both style and longevity and grow into a reliable partner whether you're in the branding pen or ranch riding arena.
This colt is incredibly stout with plenty of bone and has the prettiest little lope (when he isn't going mach 10 across the pasture)
He is still plenty athletic and light on his feet.
He has potential to go many different directions. He wont make an open horse in the futurities, but he would excel in the lower levels in versatility, ranch riding, or make a great rodeo mount or just a family horse. His siblings have been easy going, so this colt would also make a nice 4-H prospect.
Hes a great blend of athleticism, substance, and style all wrapped in a pretty color.
Should mature to a solid 15h. Both parents are 5 panel neg. Not tested for IMM. Not color tested.
Will be weaned and ready to ship in October. Pre purchase exams are welcome at buyers expense.
Will be halter broke, dewormed, and vaccines done before leaving.

Broke as a 2 yr old, but never shown. Soggy level headed mare that I've owned for about 6 years now. Not royally bred but is a really nice mare that has phenomenal foals. She does have a couple that are showing. I retained her 2023 filly by Colonels Shining Gun that is currently in training. Hopefully I'll be able to show her next year.
