Cruz – The Kind-Hearted Draft Cross Gelding... Versatile, Talented, Family Friendly. Cruz is a 6-year-old, 16.2 hand black and white draft cross gelding that will get you noticed anywhere you go. He is big-boned and stout making him an excellent partner for ranch work. He has worked the feedlots and sale barns and has been a steady, dependable ranch horse. He has also been a trusted family trail horse, sure-footed and reliable wherever you take him. We have hauled him all over—including a recent trip to Baker, Spain—where he handled every new sight and sound with ease. Cruz is traffic safe, used to busy environments, and has a kind, willing-to-please disposition. We have used him in fun shows, arena events. For a big horse, he is remarkably handy, always taking care of his rider. Whether you ride him once a week or once a month, Cruz will always be the same steady, reliable horse. He stands quietly for bathing, grooming, tacking, and tying—whether on a picket line or in the barn.
