Rettelle is a 17 hand, 2012, dark bay TB gelding by War Cry out of Virginia Forum.
This handsome boy retired from the track as a 6 YO completely sound.
He has been evented through the Training Level by his AA owner, but prefers the discipline of dressage. He is confirmed at Second Level and schooling all the movements of Third Level, including the flying changes. This is a great opportunity for someone to access more sophisticated dressage movements in a lower budget.
He has always been ridden by an adult amateur, under the guidance of a professional dressage coach.
Very responsive to the aids with a forward, going attitude. Makes a wonderful connection in the bridle and displays a positive work ethic. Rettelle requires a rider who is confident in handling a TB.
Rettelle is really sweet to be around and loves to be fussed over. He is good in turnout alone, or in a small group. Good for the farrier and the vet. Minimal maintenance
