Mikey is a 9 year old OTTB. He was a rescue from VA. He is super gentle on the ground; he loves my 3 year old, she can brush him, give treats. He does prefer stall grooming vs cross ties but does love a bath and will stand in wash stall on cross ties. I just unfortunately don’t have the time he deserves to be ridden. He was working on learning flying lead changes. He’s finished over 2’3” fences. I’m looking for someone that wants a project to ride but also happy for anyone that just wants to hang out with him and give love and treats too! He was showing in the early spring at schooling shows. He is a bit fresh just because he isn’t being ridden steadily. He is a little more forward but fairly in the middle (1-10 he’s a 6 forward) He is truly a wonderful boy- and that’s why I’m looking to lease him. I’d do anything from once a week ride to full lease (with my rights still to come spend time w him. He is in Finleyville/ beagle club RD. with indoor and outdoor arena. Night time turn out. I will cover all costs such as feed and farrier; I’ll pay board and just have lease payments come to me.
I am very flexible. I would consider a lease as well. I am open to anything that may be a good fit for him & you.
