After many months of back and forth we have come to the conclusion that it is time for Phineas to find his next chapter. I have not ridden in a couple of years (unrelated back injury) maybe I will ride again someday but it is not fair for him to spend the best years of his life standing around. I know fall is not the ideal time of year but I think it is best for everyone and I gotta do it while I can emotionally! He is really fun and rewarding to own. Watching him move is what got me, he is gorgeous in person! If you know someone who might be a good fit, feel free to connect us! He is a National Show Horse registered AMF JUSTIN TYME. We call him Phineas, he is a spunky gelding with a diverse training background; dressage/shows when he was younger (he knows way more about than I do!). I did a little bit of gaming (and boy was he was fast!), mostly we did trail/borderline endurance riding. He is super smart and will take care of who he feels is his partner. He isn't everyone's horse, he has high trust standards and wants to know that you will take care of him too. Phineas has a leading type personality and lots of potential for the right rider. I would say an intermediate rider would be best because he is happy to run roughshod over a timid person. Loads fine, stands gentlemanly for the farrier, bathes no problem, etc. He is sound and healthy. Not in love with water but he would do it for me. That's how you know when he's decided he's yours. He is about 16hh, birthdate is June 6, 2005 I haven't ridden him in a couple of years but my daughter rode him a few times this summer and he did just fine. $2,000 to be with the right family. I'm located in Eagle Creek, Oregon
