Royal is a total love bug and well put together, with a sweet head, nice hip & shoulder, and is a fancy mover with a lot of presence to him. He has seen the farrier regularly and is a good boy for his feet. He has a current negative coggins and is up to date on all shots and vet visits. He gets blood drawn and handles shots like an old pro. Royal is very well handled and is well exposed to things for a horse his age. He was shown last summer as a yearling at a big Gypsy breed show (GypsyLive in KY) and did well in junior horse halter classes and junior in-hand trail classes. He loads easily and trailers quietly, and handled the show environment well. At home he is used to being cross tied, but will also stand at a single tie, and loves to be groomed and loved on. He walks respectfully but of course is young so needs some reminders sometimes if he gets excited. He has had daily handling since he was born, and is not touchy at all about being groomed or handled. He is also fine with baths, and loves to play in the water. We’ve bought 3-year-olds that weren’t nearly as well trained as he was at 1! Royal’s mama (RHF Legendary Duchess) is a “do anything” performance horse and we’ve raised her since she was a weanling. She rides, drives, trail rides, shows, etc. His sire (The TaxMan) is the sweetest stallion, and also rides and drives. Between the two of them, Royal will be able to do anything and has the amazing Gypsy temperament. He has old traditional Gypsy cob lines in his pedigree, including Duke of Running Winds, Nobby, The Rocking Horse, Falcon, The Bunny Mare, Shogun, and Sid’s Good Stallion. His price will increase as he gets more show miles, so snag him up now!
