WFR Sin City Mister, a.k.a. Yukon is a big strong 15 hand 7 year old gray gelding from Sand Wash Basin, Colorado. He was my pic for the Mustang Challenge 2025 in Las Vegas Nevada, the biggest western mustang trainer challenge in the country. In the preliminary classes he was 3rd in ranch riding and then I overspun by a half in the reining, so we disqualified and didn’t get to go to the finals. Not his fault, it was pilot error, he did exactly what I asked him to do. He’s very athletic, a big stopper, and likes deep dirt best. He’s very steppy in his turnarounds and has a pretty flying lead change. In the show atmosphere he really excels in a ranch riding, and reining, and if he can see the course first, he is great at trail. He can be kind of cautious the first time he goes through the obstacles, but once he gets it, he gets it. Sometimes he’s not as brave as I would like, but he’s never bolted or said, no absolutely not, to anything that I’ve asked him to do. He’s extremely loyal, loves to be loved on, and loves having his face scratched. His favorite snack is wild sunflowers.
He’s been all over the steep mountainous terrain, through water, and dead fall. He will side pass to you for you to get on him. He’s been ridden and downtown Logan, Utah, and swam in Bear Lake. He’s been hauled all over the country, and does great with, or without a partner.
I’m asking $24,000 for him with a 10% discount for Cash. I will deliver him at no charge up to 500 miles. I love seeing where my Mustang’s that I’ve worked with forever homes will be.
