Meet Elivs! Elvis is a 14.3 hand paint gelding. I do believe he is part walking horse however he is NOT gaited. He is 12 years old. Elvis stands for mouting rides off well. Elvis needs someone who can handle a horse who likes to move out. He is not a run away at all, but he is a little high strung in the beginning and has a fast walk. Elvis walk trots and lopes. Has a fantastic one rein stop and a good forward whoa. He leads loads lunges ponies and ties all day long. He has been ran through the Clinton Anderson ground work fundamentals and does fantastic. He has a smooth trot and a nice lope. Elvis does not buck rear or bolt. He can be a little hard to catch if he doesnt know you to well. He is slightly weary of new people. But does warm up quickly. You can ride him in a hackamore snaffle or a shank. He will go through anything and over anything. Elvis is far more than green, but i wouldnt say he is 100% finished. I had Elvis earlier this year and put 45 days on him and his owner rode him some and then decided she was ready for him to find a new home at not fault to him. He has since been back at my barn and I ride him in between riding training horses and horse riding lessons. Elvis can set for a while and saddle up and ride right off. But sometime lunging him can settle his brain down a bit before hand. Elvis has had arena work and trail riding. He is a very good boy.
