Nieto is an 8-year-old PRE gelding. He's very responsive and sensitive. He has a charro past which I worked for the past 2 years to get rid of. But because of that he is priced so low. I showed him in working equitation and done thousands of miles on trails with him. Pros: - very calm demeanor - sensitive and responsive - great collected trot, working on collecting his canter - started flying lead changes. They are not always perfect but he's coming along nicely - perfect side movements- amazing shoulder ins, great flexibility for haunches in, effortless leg yields at walk, trot, and canter - great walking pirouettes, working on his canter pirouettes which are sometimes very good - beautiful passage - very very soft on the bit, comes through the back nicely and carries himself well - has done working equitation, can complete all obstacles. Easy to open gates on, sidepass etc. - Good contact acceptance - Rockstar on trails. will ride on lose rein all day - I used him for lessons with kids and had 6 year old girl ride him on trails - Perfect ground manners - AMAZING mane - he is currently my favorite horse to ride Cons: - he has charro dancing past. He used to be afraid of people. We worked through but you have to make sure you don;t reverse my work. - has rope burns and cellulitis on his hinds. I had three vets look at it they all said it's just cosmetic and does not affect him. There is no active inflammation. I will only sell him to an amazing, 5 star home. Very strong preference for a Working Equitation home. It was a lot of hard work to get him where he is. I will not sell him to someone who will mess him up.
