Opens and closes gates. Has been ridden in the arena as well as out on the trail, crossing water and deadfall with ease. With his easy going and kind demeanor he would be a great DIY youth or amateur project. Fancy enough to take to the show pen, gentle enough to keep at home and enjoy. Not spooky, or watchy and is good with time off. Let him sit for a day a month a year and he comes back the same. Is fine turned out in a pasture with geldings and mares, low in the pecking order. Easy to catch, good to lead, load, tie, and shoe. Friendly in your pocket personality. Stands 15.2-3 hands.
