Chunky”
Chunky is a solid, thick-built, sweet-tempered gelding with so much potential. We had hoped to finish his training in our program, but due to financial circumstances, we are sadly unable to.

He stands quietly for grooming, tacking, and handling. He’s easy to ride and teach, with a nice walk, trot, and canter. Chunky has never bucked, reared, or taken off. He backs, steers, and responds nicely, though he does need more time to be truly show-ready he is a nice horse

He loads and unloads in the trailer with ease. He’s been on trails and does well with other horses. Alone, he can be a little looky no physical reaction but with more time he will be a stocky.

Chunky has also been introduced to jumping cross rails, as well as both English and Western trail courses.

Due to an experience before coming to us, he does require a stud chain when leading, as he has occasionally tried to turn back toward his stall. With the chain, he leads respectfully and without issue.

This is a wonderful gelding with the foundation and temperament to go far in the right hands.
