Five year old gelding "Maddox" was imported in March of 2025. At that time he had all current x-rays/radiographs. He was purchased as a riding horse for my 12 year old daughter and their personalities are just not clicking. She prefers to ride the other horses we own. I am unable to take him on myself as a regular mount as I\'ve my own horses. He\'s just too nice to sit and it\'s too expensive to just keep him in training. He\'s been in training with my daughter\'s instructor and goes well undersaddle for her - walk trot canter and some lateral work. He tends to be on the lazy side but will test his rider. Once he knows they are confident enough to make him behave he does very well. He needs to either stay in training or be placed with a more confident rider. He doesn\'t need a professional as I don\'t believe him to be unsafe, but he will take advantage of a beginner. He\'s been ridden both indoors and out on some trails but does get a bit nervous without another confident horse. He does seem to enjoy hacking out and I think with more time he would love to be out on the trails more. I believe he was also trained to drive in the Netherlands but we have never driven him.
