✨River✨ (New and improved post) River is a 8-9 grade qh, he was a ranch horse in Texas from ages 4-6, brought down to Colorado 3 years ago, he has since had 40-ish days of professional training to be re-started 2 years ago and 30 days of patterning on the barrels 2 months ago. In between then he was my rodeo royalty horse, trail horse, and all arounder. He loads and hauls well, been to multiple rodeos, jackpots, gymkhanas, ect. River is what would be called the “Trail horse deluxe” so far I’ve seen nothing phase this horse while I rode, hes a bit more watchy when you’re on the ground but when on him nothing has truly phased him. Traffic broke, good with dogs, been exposed to cattle, goats, donkeys, sheep ect. He hates rubber chickens, don’t ask me why I don’t know 😂. River is good with kids, I wouldn’t say he is for beginners though, he is every bit of a power house. In the round pen he could very easily be good for an advanced beginner. In the arena he has a job and knows it, he’s very forward and can be strong occasionally. On the trail anyone could ride him. I believe River could be a very nice rope horse for someone if they put in the effort to get him there, I can’t rope to save my life, but I have swung a rope off him and have dragged a barrel behind us as well, he’s got some natural cow sense as well. He’d also make someone a really nice ranch horse. If someone were to put more time on him with the barrels I believe he could make someone a nice 4D possibly 3D horse. Needs at least front shoes, he’s got soft hooves and is sensitive to rocks without shoes. Stands well for the farrier. Pm for more info. Asking 8️⃣🥕🥕🥕 or best offer located in Florence Co.
